Alera comes from the Latin word alere, meaning to support and strengthen. Alera Strategies was founded to help strengthen organizations and support leaders to bring clarity to complexity, prioritize wisely, and unlock the potential of their teams to achieve ambitious goals.
About Jennifer
Jennifer Meder, Managing Director
For three decades, Jennifer has worked alongside executives as an advisor, consultant, and thought partner, helping organizations set strategy, develop leaders, plan for succession, and build cultures where people are engaged and accountable. She has held senior roles at large consulting firms and served as Vice President of Learning and Organizational Development for a Fortune 500 company.
Jennifer graduated cum laude from Vassar College and earned a Master of Science from Northwestern University. She is a credentialed Executive Coach through Northwestern University and is certified in Korn Ferry’s Leadership Architect™, a comprehensive framework for identifying the competencies essential to leadership success and building targeted development strategies.
She lives in Arlington, Virginia with her family and volunteers as a Girl Scout troop leader, helping empower girls to become capable, confident leaders.
